I am thrilled to announce that I had a hand in deciding about the covers of my forthcoming books, Below, and All Guts, All Glory. Both designs worked out great. Bear in mind, September is rapidly approaching. Both books should come out by September of 2026, barring any catastrophes. Stay tuned for the cover reveal of each book.
I am preparing to finish my three-novel investigative thriller/horror series by completing the final leg, a novel that might not be the last of the saga, depending on its reception. The third and tentatively last novel should have an even more diverse ensemble cast for fans across the spectrum, with two additional LGBTQ characters to join the fray of NBI investigators.
I am still watching short fiction markets for interesting (and well-paying) open calls. Although I have seemed to run out of good ideas for now, a short story concept might just come to me. I’m not ruling out extending short story time past the first week of February, but only if story ideas excite me.
I have submitted an entry for a coveted prize that will award publication of the winning book, plus a substantial cash advance. I won’t say what prize, but the tentative cover design and final manuscript review yielded high optimism on my part. I actually felt like I could win this. Please hope I do.
P.S. It occurred to me to shoot a video announcing this like the rest of the writing community does, but I hate seeing myself in videos.
